Wheel maestros Kei Racing have unleashed yet another superb wheel design onto the modified market; The Tachi. (pronounced Tar-Chee)
The Tachi is named after a deadly weapon favoured as the weapon of choice for many Samurai warriors in ancient feudal Japan, so it’s highly appropriate for Kei’s cutting-edge wheel technology and design.

The new Japanese design looks suitably race-ready in a moody matt-gunmetal finish and uses a strong, simple 10 spoke design to offer good looks with great caliper clearance and brake cooling, making it the perfect wheel for fast road or track day use.
Size wise, there’s something for everyone, with 15 x 6.5, 17 x 7 and 18 x 7.5 all available in a huge array of 4 and 5 stud patterns, covering nearly all core Jap, Tuner and Euro cars.
Thankfully, these trackside good looks aren’t reflected in the price tag, with the 15” coming in at just £86.69 each, the 17” at £122.50 and the 18” at just £150.34, proving that quality needn’t break the bank.

Italian wheel designers Finichi have released details of their Vicenza wheel – and it’s a real looker. It manages to combine huge amount of design features whilst maintaining a refined, elegant appearance.
Immediately obvious is the flawless stainless steel lip, that is actually laser cut around the profile of each of the 5 spokes, allowing it to sit deeply into the wheel, giving an attractive deep dish appearance.

The wheel is painted in a stunning gloss black paint finish before being diamond polished and then heavily lacquered to protect the machined face from the elements. Pseudo split rim rivets accentuate the purposeful look and make for one of the of the most sought after wheels in the Finichi range.
At present, just the 18 x 7.5” fitment is available, but in the vast majority of 4 and 5 stud applications and offsets. Prices start at just £177 per rim.

Fresh out of the casts for 2009 comes the first in a long line of new wheels from Kei Racing. The respected manufacturer has been working hard over the winter, designing, testing and manufacturing a superb new range of rims that look as much at home on a Mini as they do on a Mitsubishi.

The stunning Kozuka boasts a pseudo split-rim appearance, complete with allen bolts and precision machined lip. Both 17” x 7” and 18” x 7.5” inch sizes are available in most 4 and 5 stud pattern fitments, including VAG, Ford, Vauxhall, Mitsubishi, Subaru and Fiat. The Kozuka is named after the sword favoured as the weapon of choice for many Samurai warriors in ancient feudal Japan, so it’s highly appropriate for Kei’s cutting-edge wheel technology and design.
The wheel centre is finished in flawless piano black, to create an attractive contrast with the lacquered lip, and will work well with any body colour to create a mean, moody and purposeful looking motor.
